You can cancel your Stingray subscription at any time. How you cancel depends on where you originally signed up — directly with Stingray, through your phone's app store, or through a third-party platform like Roku or Amazon.
When you cancel, your access continues until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free tier where available.
This applies to Stingray Music · Stingray Karaoke · Stingray Classica · Qello Concerts · Singing Machine
🔍 Not sure where this charge is coming from?
The charge on your billing statement will look different depending on how you subscribed:
- "Stingray Group" → you subscribed directly with us
- "Apple" or "APPLE.COM/BILL" → you subscribed through the App Store on your iPhone or iPad
- "Google Play" → you subscribed through the Google Play Store on your Android device
- "Amazon" → you subscribed through Amazon Prime Video
- "Roku" → you subscribed through your Roku device
If the charge says "Stingray Group" and you're not sure which product it's for, here are two ways to figure it out:
By charge amount:
- Small monthly charge (around $3–5) → likely Stingray Music or Stingray Classica
- Weekly charge → likely Stingray Karaoke (TV app or On Demand)
- Large one-time charge ($50+) → likely an annual plan for Singing Machine or Qello Concerts
By device:
- Phone or web → Stingray Music, Stingray Classica, or Qello Concerts
- TV app → Stingray Karaoke TV or a Stingray Amazon Prime channel
- Karaoke hardware → Singing Machine
Once you recognize your charge, jump to the matching section below.
1. Signed up directly with Stingray (website or credit card)
If you subscribed at account.stingray.com or on one of our product websites using a credit card, PayPal, or Apple Pay through our store:
- Visit account.stingray.com and log in.
- From the left-hand menu, select Subscriptions.
- Find your subscription and click Manage.
- Follow the on-screen steps to cancel your billing.
Don't see your subscription? If nothing appears under Subscriptions, you likely signed up through a third-party platform (Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon, etc.). See the sections below.
Stingray Karaoke TV app — alternative method
If you use Stingray Karaoke on your TV, you can also cancel directly from the app:
- Open the app and go to the Account section.
- Scan the QR code with your mobile device.
- Log in, then select Subscriptions from the left-hand menu.
- Next to your subscription, select Manage and follow the steps to cancel.
⚠️ Singing Machine — were you charged after a free trial?
This usually happens when the subscription was started directly from the Singing Machine mobile app instead of through the machine's setup process. App store subscriptions are separate from the free trial included with your device.
To fix this: cancel the app store subscription (see Apple/Google sections below), then activate your free trial correctly by setting up the machine through its on-screen prompts. See our Why was I charged for a subscription I thought was free? guide for step-by-step instructions.
2. Signed up through Apple or Google
If you subscribed inside our app on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device, your billing is handled by Apple or Google — not Stingray. You must cancel directly through them.
Apple App Store (iPhone / iPad)
You must manage your subscription through your Apple account settings. See Apple's official cancellation instructions here.
Google Play Store (Android)
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap Menu (☰) then Subscriptions.
- Select your Stingray subscription and follow the on-screen steps to cancel.
3. Signed up through a streaming platform or TV provider
If you subscribed through one of the platforms below, you must manage your subscription directly with that provider. Stingray does not have access to these accounts and cannot process refunds on their behalf.
Roku
- Log in at my.roku.com.
- Go to Manage your subscriptions and cancel from there.
Amazon / Amazon Prime Video
Stingray offers several services as Amazon Prime Video channel add-ons, including Stingray Classica, Stingray DJAZZ, Stingray Karaoke, and music genre channels (e.g., Hot Country, Smooth Jazz). These subscriptions are billed through Amazon and can only be used within the Amazon Prime Video platform.
- Sign in to your Amazon account.
- Go to Your Memberships and Subscriptions.
- Find your Stingray channel and cancel from there.
Note: Stingray cannot issue refunds for Amazon-billed subscriptions. For further help, visit primevideo.com/help.
Samsung (Stingray Karaoke)
Cancel directly through the Stingray Karaoke TV app, or visit Samsung Checkout to manage your billing.
Comcast Xfinity (Qello Concerts)
Xfinity subscriptions are billed directly to your cable bill and must be cancelled through Xfinity.
- Say "Qello" into your X1 Voice Remote to go to the channel page, or navigate to On Demand → Networks → Premium → Qello Concerts.
- Select Manage my Subscription and follow the cancellation steps.
You can also reach Xfinity Customer Service at 1-800-934-6489.
Note: Stingray does not have access to Xfinity accounts and cannot process refunds for Xfinity-billed charges.
